I like how in old animation, you knew what object the characters would interact with. Because they were significantly less detailed than the stationary objects around them.

Ahhh yes.
I think the reason why so many people are unhappy is because they are waiting for a time when everything is perfect. They are waiting for a day when they wake up and everything clicks, where nothing is going wrong. That day wont ever come. There will always be suffering, things will always be going wrong. That isn’t a reason to be upset. You don’t wait for all the suffering to be gone, you find happiness through the suffering.
This is how it got removed in Sweden. People actually called in, all on the same day, and announced that they couldn’t come to work as they were gay and would probably stay gay for a while.
